www.RaffleResults.com.au was created in 2009 when it was realised that -
(1) There seemed to be no comprehensive list in existence of raffles, loteries and art union raffles (collectively they can all be described as 'raffles') conducted by Australian charities and other not-for-profit organizations. Supporters were reliant on calls from telemarketers, or being on a mailing list.
(2) It was frequently difficult to discover the results of drawn raffles. Supporters forget to buy newspapers. Some charities do not place results on their own websites, or a lengthy delay may occur before they decide to show them.
THE SOLUTION -
(1) Our 'Raffles on Sale' page now lists dozens of raffles currently on sale. They are listed in draw date order and information provided on how tickets can be purchased. Many charities can tell from their website analytics that visits referred from www.RaffleResults.com.au now represents a significant source of new ticket sales. The 'Raffles on Sale' page does not provide a complete list of charity raffles. We are frequently receiving requests to add new raffles - and all not-for-profit organizations are welcome to use our website.
(2) Our 'Results' page endeavours to show the results of all raffles previously shown on our 'Raffles on Sale' page. The results are retained for 12 months. In most States and Territories in Australia it is no longer necessary for charities to publish the results of their raffles in newspapers. Using our 'Results' page can therefore reduce costs as well as provide a convenience for supporters.
The following Charities and other not-for-profit organizations have recently published their raffle results on this website and included details of our website on their raffle tickets. For example - "Results published.......on www.RaffleResults.com.au from -/-/-". Our website can be used as an alternative to newspapers ( in most States and Territories ), or in addition to newspapers. In following this procedure organizations conducting raffles can be of great service to their supporters. Results are retained on our website for 12 months.

It does not matter whether you are a small not-for-profit (a school or church fete) or a large not-for-profit (a major charity), all you have to do is send details of your raffle to geoff@RaffleResults.com.au.
If it is not practical to print our domain name on individual tickets but you can otherwise inform your supporters that results are available on this website, by producing a flyer or by similar methods, you are still welcome to publish results on this website. Can Assist, Eurobodalla have decided to follow this procedure.
